Chelle Wallis first encountered Semple Math in June of 1987 as a participant in one of the author’s training sessions. Immediately Chelle became impressed with the format, strategies and sequence of Semple Math. Having previously taught regular education, Chelle became one of the first, to our knowledge, to use Semple Math in a classroom of hearing impaired students. After experiencing tremendous success with Semple Math in a classroom setting, Chelle began to tutor students of all ages and learning needs in a private setting. With yearly one-on-one training from Jan Semple, Chelle has been presenting Semple Math to teachers across the U.S. since 1989. Not wanting her own children to miss out on this wonderfully fun and successful way to learn mathematics, Chelle homeschooled her own family using Semple Math.

Chelle finds it a privilege to be able to share her educational expertise and eighteen years of Semple Math experience with teachers, administrators and students by being a part of our team in presenting Semple Math to teachers, observing and supporting teachers in the classroom, monitoring our website email, and conducting phone conferences.
